"Miniature On Ivory, Portrait Of Alexander The First"
Circular miniature on ivory in its wooden frame representing a military bust looking to the left. This man stands out against a bluish gray monochrome background. He is dressed in a large green uniform, with a gold-embroidered collar and epaulettes. A large moiré blue headband, and decorations adorn his chest including the cross of the order of Saint Andrew, the cross of the Swedish sword and that of the Russian military order. The portrait is probably that of Tsar Alexander I of Russia (1777-1825). It is influenced by the portrait of the tsar by François Gérard and kept at the Hermitage Museum.
