Siam, Sukhothai, 15th-16th century, very pretty bronze Buddha head with green patina showing missing remains of red, black and gold polychromy.
Height 3.8 cm (6.2 cm with base). The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone. Condition: excavation piece with a missing top of the head and cracks. Nothing unusual compared to the great age of this very beautiful piece.
Provenance: private collection of an enlightened amateur in the field of very ancient antiquities from South-East Asia.
