The young woman is wearing a dress from the 17th century with a laced bodice and ruffled collar. This woman from high society has her hair pulled back in a bun and is wearing a diadem and earrings.The gold mounting is highlighted with pearls and topped with an intricately sculpted scrollwork motif. Late-19th century craftsmanship.
