Dimensions with base: 220 x 18 x 18 cm. Notes: Among the Bows with a Sacred function, with powerful symbolism, the Shigeto-no-Yumi (Rattan Braided Bow), the Bow of Peace and Unity. History records that Oda Nobunaga presented for the first time a Shigeto-no-Yumi as a symbol of Peace and Unity to one of the lords he had just subjugated militarily. The symbolism is strong since it was he who began using muskets in battles. Thus, through this gesture, the Arc lost its destructive function to become a creative function, that of its origin. This Arc of National Unity thus became a manifesto of Oda Nobunaga and his supporters. It is displayed in homes and workplaces to stimulate the Courage, Honor and Dignity of the “Warrior of Peace”.
