"18 K Gold Brooch 1950s “little Donkey” 20 G. "
Pretty gold and ruby brooch from the 1950s depicting an anon cleaning its hoof. Very good condition, jewelry of good manufacturing quality. Beautiful carving work. It is in 18 carat gold, 750/1000, French title, "eagle's head" hallmark on the epinet on the body of the brooch. There is also a maker's mark with two initials, perhaps "PG" with an ear of wheat in the center. The weight is significant almost 20 g, 19.76 g precisely. Height: 4.5cm Length; 5.7cm,. No welds or fragility. No restorations. Safety system for the clasp. Jewel in spirit and of quality comparable to the creations of VCA, Cartier or others....
