The mirrors are framed with decoration of golden scrolls on a black background and surrounded by interlacing and foliage frames. A golden floral garland separates the main and upper mirrors.

A mirror attributed to Precht, smaller and with a more ordinary decoration, was sold in 2013 in Berlin. This one, with its decoration of putti musicians and mascaron, presents a more meticulous and remarkable decor.
Using a system of iron rods at the back, it is possible to place the mirror on a piece of furniture.
On the back wood, a paint mark (stencil) symbolizes a royal crown.
