Porcelain group representing the Taoist god Shoulao displaying the symbol of longevity

The god is represented standing, dressed in a long coat (hanfu) surrounded by a belt, large sleeves seeming floatin in the wind. He holds the symbol of longevity (shou) in his hands and is accompanied by a crane standing at his side, itself a symbol of long life in Chinese mythology, the terrace in imitation of waves.
