"Neoclassical Table Clock With 18th Century Shepherd"
Splendid and elegant mercury gilt bronze clock, perfect example of the neoclassical style. The clock is finely decorated with recurring symbols of this style, such as the shepherd boy in a Roman toga, the lamb surrounded by a laurel wreath and the friezes depicting doves in a gesture of love, thus recalling the art and culture of ancient Greece and Rome. This watch works perfectly, striking the hours and half hours. The charge is weekly and the suspension of the pendulum is made with silk thread. French manufacture from the end of the 18th century. A truly decorative and functional piece, which adds elegance and charm to any environment in which it is placed.
