"Louis XVI Style Serving Buffet. Krieger House "
Half-moon sideboard from Maison KRIEGER. In mahogany, this piece of furniture is in the Louis XVI style. It opens with 2 leaves and 1 drawer on the front. It rests on 4 spindle legs. Simulated drawers and side leaves. It is topped with a thick marble top with small projections and molded with a fillet. Solid oak foundations. Its original lock bears the signature of Maison KRIEGER in Paris. In addition, Maison KRIEGER having collaborated with cabinetmaker François LINKE, notably for the design of this piece of furniture, the latter's stamp was affixed under the marble on the right. (see photo). Pretty piece of furniture having benefited from a high quality of execution.
