Object description :

"18th And 19th Century Briquettes"
18th and 19th CENTURY BRIQUETTES
Build the hearth of your fireplace.
Imagine a barbecue for this summer..
Install half-timbered partitions... Dress up bays or doorways.
There are a thousand ways to use terracotta briquettes just removed from an old bread oven, or from a chimney flue threatening to ruin.
Simple to install with lime mortar, in a beautiful pink or light ocher color, you will dress your renovations with a solid, durable and charming secular material.
Sizes:
3 cm thick
Generally 11 cm wide
For 21/22 cm long

We sell the piece for €2 It takes 36 pieces on edge to cover 1 m2
Or €70 per m2 of this product - Ready to install.

We have in constant stock between 3 to 5000 pieces available.
We do not recommend making it a floor.
This refractory terracotta would crumble and would not resist regular use for very long.

We recommend laying on or with a lime mortar.
It would be a crime to drown them in cement.
Oil and old materials do not mix!
The cathedrals are a thousand years old... and built with lime! Why sacrifice everything to concrete!
