Pair of Louis XVI style two-light candlesticks mounted as lamps.
In bronze on a square white marble base mounted on four spinning top legs supporting a quiver barrel, flanked by two winding branches decorated with acanthus leaves and vine branches and topped with a binet and its basin decorated with pearls and stylized water leaves
Period late 19th century.
Topped with an oval gray background lampshade decorated with two medallions of linen canvas printed
with an empire style decoration inspired by Pompeii frescoes of a musician playing the aulos or tibia
- brown background with ecru decorations, highlighted with 'a chocolate soutache.
Completely revised electrification, wire, socket and gold-colored bipolar switch, E12 screw socket.
The electrical wire passes outside the candle holder.
Protective varnish on bronze.
Some manufacturing defects, wear and small shocks.
