Pair of carved wooden scraps, decorated with cherub heads, flowers and sunflowers executed in very relief. The sunflower, symbol of the sun, is a decorative element typical of the Louis XIV period. Minimal lack of sculpture in the lower part, visible in a photo which shows the back. Numerous chips to the gilding, and fragility of the existing gilding. Louis XIV period: late 17th to early 18th century at the latest. Delivery at the buyer's expense.
