Magnificent painting by Elisabeth DE DRIESSCH dated 1880 and signed lower left on its original canvas and with its original gilded stucco frame in perfect condition. This FRENCH artist of Dutch origin lived a large part of her life in Paris and died there in 1903. Her style, inspired by 18th century genre scenes in the movement of Théodore LEVIGNE or Maurice BLUM, is distinguished by a cheerfulness of the subject and very decorative light and invigorating colors.
