"Fountain In Painted Sheet Metal Around 1830-1840"
Fountain or Samovar in black painted sheet metal resting on 4 claw feet in gold sheet metal. In the lower part, the sheet metal is decorated with pierced work on three sides. The central shaft is decorated with 2 lion's muzzles in gilded sheet metal, each holding a ring. At the back a drawer was used to put the embers to heat the contents of the receptacle, while the lid lifts to put in the coffee. The sheet metal is in good condition, the black paint has chips and gaps. Period: 1830s-1840s Delivery to France: 35 euros
