Superb and rare Art Deco period vase in powdered glass with marquetry by Charles Schneider.Base layer of purple powdered glass towards the base, slightly bluish opal gradient towards the top. Decorated with pellets and threads of orange powdered glass, worked with a blowtorch. Top colorless acid-etched glass layer. This vase is signed "Schneider".
Height : 13 cm. Diameter : 9 cm. Very good condition. No cracks, no chips, no restoration. Note the original bubbles (see photos). Rare work from Schneider on the dividers.
