"Blessing Child - Wooden Statue - 17th Century"
Our Salvator Mundi is sculpted in the round. Painted naturally, it stands majestically upright on a rectangular molded base. Statue and base, linked, are made of wood. Pomlychromy and gilding have previously been the subject of restoration.
Our representation of the Child, in his classic representation of Savior of the World, is probably from a Spanish school. Dimensions of 55 cm high by 24 cm wide and 12 centimeters deep. Some gaps, old holes from wood-eating insects
