"Large Flat Back Armchair"
This large armchair, called "à la reine" or with a flat back, was created in the 19th century, during the reign of Napoleon III when the Louis XV style was back in fashion, but with larger proportions than in the 18th century. , an evolution due to the new size of crinolines. This model was made in beautiful walnut which allowed abundant sculpted, deep and nervous decoration. This seat has been newly restretched, in perfect used condition, and really robust. Its ample proportions make it very comfortable and adapted to the demands of contemporary life. We can only consider changing the covering fabric.
