Very beautiful Directoire period clock in gilded bronze, circa 1795.
Enamel dial with Roman numerals, Breguet hands in burnished steel.
Movement in gilded brass, with verge escapement, pendulum balance with silk thread, striking the hour and a half as it passes. Eight days of power reserve.
Magnificent gilded bronze case decorated with swans, flowers and foliage.
Perfect revised condition.
