"Large Louis Philippe Period Writing Desk In Mahogany And Mahogany Veneer"
Large lecturer's or notary's desk forming a writing desk in mahogany and mahogany veneer from the Louis Philippe period. Our piece of furniture rests on Jacob legs joined together by three spacer shelves. The flap is covered in dark green leather with signs of use. It opens onto a lockable locker. A wand allows documents to be held while reading/writing. The top of the cabinet has two locations intended to receive inkwells, the two inkwells are made of glass (probably later) and in very good condition. The central space allows you to arrange the feathers. Superb piece of furniture, beautiful patina.
