18th century period, rare service of ten superb silver crook-shaped knives. All handles are solid silver. Nine knives of the same model. A knife, enriched with scrolls in staples, whose blade is original, is inscribed on the bolster, with Belgian hallmarks and marked 71 for the year 1771. No hallmarks visible on the other pieces A knife coded HD, certain others engraved on the base with the initials H and P (some erased) (see photos). The handles of these knives are in very good condition, with a very beautiful patina; some micro-dents and scratches from normal use. Oxidation of the original blade. The other blades are made of stainless steel (Simonet). Magnificent set for enthusiasts and discerning collectors. Length: 24.8 cm. / 9.76 in.
