Paul Sersté 1910-2000
Belgian sculptor, born in Charleroi. Part of his work was devoted to his travels in Africa,particularly in the Congo, where he became interested in various ethnicities, including the characteristic "Mangbetu" ethnicity. Many of his works were made in terracotta, bronzes are rarer.
