Sumptuous chocolate pot in sterling silver covered with thick vermeil manufactured by Maison Tetard Frères in Paris in the twentieth century. The lid's fretel pivots to allow the user to slide a stirring stick or frother through a small circular opening in the lid's dome. The ebony side handle also unscrews. This beautiful hot chocolate jug is in perfect condition and weighs 805 grams.
