Biography:
Adolfo Cipriani was a sculptor active from around 1880 to 1930. Little is known about his career. He created numerous statues, busts and groups of figures, mainly with portraits of women and children in the Art Nouveau style, often including portraits and allegorical figures in marble or alabaster, sometimes also in the form of nudes . He also sold his works, which were often signed A. Cipriani.
Adolfo Cipriani was married to Emilia Pancani (*1860) and their union had nine children, including the sculptor Ugo Cipriani.
