"Charente Hosiery In Cherry And Elm Burl - 18th Century"
It opens with a cut-out door, molded and sculpted with a charming pattern. Very beautiful wrought iron ornamentation which accompanies a lock and a key in perfect working order. On the right, the original iron hinges have three fasteners. This hosiery will stand out for its inlaid crosspieces. The upper crossbar is decorated with two rectangles in Elm Burl. In the center, a square represents a wind star in marquetry. The lower crosspiece is scalloped and we find in its middle, the wind star. A drawer, above the lower crosspiece, has the same fittings as the door, as well as two handles.
