This beautiful autumnal scene with subtle colors offers magnificent shades of rust contrasting with the green meadow and a very beautiful fluidity of the reflection of the water. Narcisse Henocque (1879 - 1952) was a renowned pupil of the Rouen school, student of Joseph Delattre, to whom he remained very influenced, he participated in his first salon in 1907.
