Object description :

"Saint Louis Toilet Trim 1900"
Magnificent Saint Louis crystal toilet set. Acid-etched decoration on pink gradient and gold threads. We find this “Moussu” model in the 1908 catalog; it also exists in white. The set includes: 6 bottles with their faceted caps and golden stars. Height: from 18 cm to 9.5 cm - 1 stilligoutte bottle 17 cm - 1 bottle with the missing bulb - 1 basket 24.5 x 8.5 x 4 cm (for toothbrushes) - 1 small basket 12.5 x 4.5 x 3 cm (for tweezers or cotton buds) - 1 powder box height 13 cm Ø 7.5 cm - 1 glass height 9.2 cm Ø 6.8 cm In very good condition, I specify a whole small chip on the internal edge of the large basket, barely visible. It is rare to find these fittings so complete and in such a state of conservation. The pieces are not signed because they date from the very beginning of 1900 at that time Saint Louis affixed paper labels and not yet the stamp so it disappeared over the years. A very decorative decoration in a bathroom or on a dressing table or on a chest of drawers. This gradient of pink is particularly pretty and unusual.
