Pair of solid silvered bronze sculpture dishes from the late 19th century in art nouveau style. Very interesting set representing day and night with the representation of two muses entirely in the art nouveau spirit. Signature of the artist Ledru and the founder Susse Frères. Auguste Ledru, 1860 1902 was a great artist from a family of talented artists who worked at the end of the 19th century and was a creator and precursor of art nouveau. He is present at the Orsay Museum and was a close friend of Rodin. He was also the brother-in-law of René Lalique.
