An original lithograph depicting gondolas in Venice signed lower right by Yves BRAYER Numbered 59/75 lower left Period 20th century Black passe-partout and simple presentation frame Dimensions 45 x 62 cm (at sight) Yves Brayer (1907-1990 ) is a painter, Grand Prix de Rome, but also a French engraver, illustrator and theater decorator. Faithful to the tradition of figurative art, he is one of the masters of the School of Paris. Using a wide variety of techniques, he is the author of an abundant production of landscapes but also of large compositions, figures and still lifes. The Marmottant Museum in Paris paid tribute to him in 1993. His museum is located in Les Baux de Provence.
