Small lady's secretary in mahogany and gilded brass from the Napoleon III period. 19th century period. Opening on the front a flap and a large drawer. The 2 keys are present. Topped with a wooden top set in a gilded brass and openwork gallery with a recess on the front. The flap, sides and front of its drawer are decorated with leafy scrolls, arabesques of flowers chiseled in the wood. The flap is decorated around its edges with gilded brass rods highlighting the deep color of Mahogany. It opens onto a storage space consisting of a full-width niche and 2 drawers. It is trimmed with elegant dark brown leather with gold outlines. (fairly good condition see photo). This elegant little desk rests on 4 turned sheath legs composed of grooves, a gilded brass ring surrounds the lower part. Legs joined by a spacer.
