Saber of the AN XI model (1802-1803) of light cavalry known as the hunter with two fixed secondary branches. Brass frame with oval cap with olive rivet button and extended by a long tail. Handle covered with sheepskin and filigreed with simple twin threads. Main branch and secondary branches joining together the joining arch at the upper third of its length. Curved ball quillon and stick-shaped earpieces with rounded end, 5.5 cm long and 1.2 cm wide. Flat blade with flat back and hollow side with 1 edge and counter-edged point of 26 cm. Total length: 105 cm Blade length: 87.5 cm Blade width at the heel: 3.5 cm Blade deflection: 4.5 cm. Heavy steel scabbard with 2 flat brass bail bracelets, 2.5 cm wide, partly guilloché with brass rings. Asymmetrical dart and brass clevis bowl crown.
