Quality crystal, beautiful shine. Stamp on the feet A short story about the Lemberg house (1925-1996) The Lemberg Cristallerie was founded in 1925 by Théodore Heitzman. The latter, baker for the neighboring Saint Louis crystal factory, lost a large part of his turnover following the creation of a bakery specific to the factory. He then decided to create Cristallerie Lorraine (Cristallerie de Lemberg). He hired twenty workers, most of them glassmakers from the Cristallerie de Saint Louis. Thanks to them, he succeeded in manufacturing “high-end crystal” (24 to 30% lead content), namely a crystal of excellent quality.
