Magnificent and rare Renaissance sideboard with two bodies and four doors and six drawers. On the upper part of the sideboard, which hide two secret drawers, an alternating band of three masks, represents a mythological scene: Zeus transformed into a swan seduces Leda on the banks of the Eurotas. The sides of the buffet are decorated with foliage and vines. The cornices of the doors and drawers are decorated with very finely carved masks, griffins and indigenous characters. The sides of the sideboard are decorated with geometric patterns. Very beautiful patina Magnificent Renaissance period furniture, in incredible condition. The sculpting work is wonderful and impressive. This very rare piece of furniture is a sublime piece of French history - circa 1580.
