"Renaissance Buffet In Carved Walnut, Circa 1600"
Coming from a 16th century Norman manor, this magnificent four-door sideboard decorated with inlaid hearts on the upper part and geometric patterns on the lower part. The three drawers of the central part with wrought iron keyholes are alternated with sculptures of acanthus leaves. The sides of the sideboard are richly carved with angel faces, fruit garlands, vines and birds. Beautiful French work from the end of the 16th or beginning of the 17th century.
