Hippolyte Ballue (1820-1867)
Student of Narcisse Diaz de la Pena (1807-1876), he exhibited his works at the salons from 1842 to 1851. He is the author of numerous watercolors representing views of Paris, Sicily or North Africa. He also particularly likes to represent theatrical costumes, which give him free rein to his creation, particularly in color and line.
