Exceptional pewter vase signed A Villien, circa 1890-1910. Large and impressive, with neo-Gothic decoration, representing a knight in armor in battle. Beautiful original patina. Marked below the Etain Francais Paris logo, signed A. Villien on the base. French sculptor and decorator born in the 19th century, and was especially active in Paris between 1905 and 1924. State A.B.E. I indicate with dents on the rear side (price accordingly). Height 61 cm. weight 3,170 kg.
