"Bronze Pot High Period 13th 15th Century "normandy""
Bronze pot or cauldron from the Middle Ages 13th to 15th century "Normandy" exemplary in the state of use which has reached the present day, usually known in the excavated state. 5 examples listed by the Rouen Museum of Antiquities, 4 in Seine Maritime, 1 in Manche. The globular body made up of four flat strata, the feet with a slight curve, file marks at the exterior bottom, around the handles and at the neck. The grips on the handle have rounded corners and are not pointed. A very old filling on the top of the body, probably due to a casting defect, very well done and in the same metal. as well as its wrought iron handle, brings obvious interest to the object. good condition for the time height at the neck 24 cm body diameter 27 cm
