Pair of Art Nouveau vases in milky iridescent glass covered with two-tone threaded decoration. Interesting, dynamic and asymmetrical shape of the vases, probably inspired by the plant world. A vase with very similar decoration is in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague (Uměleckoprůmyslové museum v Praze) - last photo.Pallme-König & Habel, Koštany near Teplice, Bohemia, around 1900.

Pallme-König & Habel – glassworks founded in Steinschonau, Austria, around 1786 by Ignaz Pallme-Konig. From the 1880s the glassworks produced high quality products, mainly for export. The glassworks were famous for their Art Nouveau iridescent glass, using original colors. Towards. 1900, Pallme-König merged with Wilhelm Habel's Elizabethhutte company and adopted the new name Pallme-König & Habel.
