"Baccarat Series Of 6 Children's Champagne Glasses - Juvisy Model That Of The Elysée Palace"
Series of 6 cherry or brandy fruit bowls in Baccarat crystal, Juvisy model. Beyond their original use, these are in fact mini Champagne glasses, based on the model of the large ones, but adapted to the use of children's glasses (for Champomy of course!). The last photo is a comparison with a normal cut to see the scale. The Juvisy service is one of the most famous crystal models, chosen by Emile Loubet in 1899 to become the official service of the Elysée. This superb decor created in 1867 for the Universal Exhibition is a masterpiece: it is made up of scales intertwined with each other and yet all identical, without any offset. It is by the perfection of these models (entirely made by hand!) that we can measure the technical supremacy of Baccarat. The feet and bases are star-shaped. Old pieces, not bearing Baccarat's signature. The model is listed in numerous tableware catalogs from the late 19th and 20th centuries. Extremely rare collector's items, the first we have in our hands in 15 years. They are in excellent condition; no accidents. Height: 7.3cm Diameter: 7cm
