This bronze sculpture after Andrea del Verrocchio (1435-1488) represents the famous Bartolomeo Colleoni, Italian Condottiere (leader of an army of mercenaries).
He is dedicated mainly to the defense of Venice. On the Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo in Venice, perched on a high pedestal, stands this equestrian statue representing a character with a proud and triumphant appearance.
Very Beautiful dark patina in the style of the 15th century .
