"Art Nouveau Bronze Vase Decorated With Golden Thistles – Albert Marionnet (1870-?)"
Very beautiful carving work for this Art Nouveau vase by Albert Marionnet. Made around 1900, this elegant vase is decorated with golden thistles which stand out on the body of this bronze vase with a matte patina. Thistle leaves, also golden, cover the vase. Its foot has a patina of green-gray hues. The floral appearance of this Art Nouveau vase is typical of this period and the style of Albert Marionnet, a Parisian carver who exhibited numerous times and was rewarded at the universal exhibitions in Brussels in 1897 and Paris in 1900.
