Greco-Buddhist art from Gandhara, 3rd century. Rare Buddhist stupa mounted on an elephant. The stupa is made up of three parts which were carved separately from rock crystal.
Height 12 cm. Length 8.4 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone.
Good condition except for a tiny chip on the tip of the trunk; without impact on the beautiful aesthetics.
