Pretty bronze representing a peasant returning from the fields carrying his two-pronged hoe on his shoulder, and a gourd suspended from his left hand by a brass wire (original). Beautiful brown patina in perfect condition. This man has a very nicely chiseled face and clothes with detailed and very realistic details. Work of Jean Garnier (1853-1910), French school of the 19th century. Height: 19.5 cm
