Small Louis XVI Mahogany Secretary

Small Louis XVI period secretary in mahogany and mahogany veneer, each mahogany panel highlighted with a frieze of golden pearls. Secretaire with doors, containing in the lower part a safe with a tilting door, fitted with a lock having retained its key.
The flap covered in olive leather highlighted with a frieze, spandrels and a central motif gives access to 2 series of 3 drawers (one with a pen compartment).
4 lockers share the interior space.
In the upper part, a drawer topped by a beautiful white Carrara marble following the cut of the furniture.
The front uprights are rounded, decorated with grooves, continuing with a tapered foot ending in a gilded bronze shoe.
The rear uprights are flat and decorated with grooves. Same ending of the tapered legs with bronze shoe.
Small secretary from the 18th century, elegant in its proportions.
