Circular chest of drawers or middle cabinet opening with four inlaid doors, Louis XVI period.

An elegant chest of drawers or circular middle cabinet in large diamond marquetry in Rosewood veneer underlined by stained sycamore fillets, it opens with four doors revealing shelves. The chest of drawers rests on four small tapered legs terminating in gilt-bronze castors.
Our piece of furniture is set in brown veined marble.

Rare French work from the Louis XVI period, circa 1760-1770.
Certainly a special order, this piece of furniture is unique and will delight collectors and lovers of unusual furniture.
