Book comprising several works in one, including the two volumes of Historiae Romanae, by Petro Romano curante (doctor). in Latin as was customary at the time for European distribution. It was the universal language of scholars still at the beginning of the 18th century. Magnificent vellum binding, with splendid gold decorations on the covers. The closing laces are missing. Some wear to the gold but the binding is in perfect condition. 748 pages plus index. Magnificent engraved frontispiece Complete and in beautiful condition.
