Rare Empire Period Engraving Forming A Perpetual Calendar, Framed Under Glass, Early 19th Century flag

Object description :

" Rare Empire Period Engraving Forming A Perpetual Calendar, Framed Under Glass, Early 19th Century"
Rare and amusing Empire period engraving forming a perpetual calendar. If the wheel of years only covers the period 1813 - 1820, the other two can really be described as "perpetual" since the months and days of the week can be adjusted at will. The astrological signs and the length of the nights are also indicated, as are the start and end dates of the four seasons. Our engraving is in a good state of conservation but still has traces of wear and some minor losses (see photos). The whole thing has retained a nice freshness. This calendar is presented framed under glass (old glass) in its original blackened wooden frame, the latter has some rare small wear and old wood-boring holes. Beautiful object.
