Portrait of a young woman signed Jean Davila, oil on canvas year 50 follower of Domergue, Fabiano etc. Half-naked woman, wearing a cabochon emerald, staring at the viewer...... Even if the 1950s, were the triumph of abstraction, nothing in fact was at stake. The production of painting in the movement of realism found its full meaning in this fourth republic announcing the thirty glorious years.
