"Imari Umbrella Stand"
Umbrella stand in Imari, Japanese porcelain, late 19th century. Rich and important enameled decoration in the colors of nuanced Iron Red, Cobalt Blue on a white background and comprising a stylized decoration of flowers and foliage: branches of cherry trees in bloom, peonies, chrysanthemums and various foliage with a few butterflies. On geometric cartridges enclosing a peony, wide decorative bands in the upper part and the lower part repeat the same stylized flowers.
