Pair of gilt bronze knurled spurs decorated with friezes of floral motifs in cartouches - roses and thistles in particular can be distinguished: the emblematic flower of Scotland.
Maxwell maker's mark in capital letters on both spurs. Also "161 PICCADILLY, LONDON". One of the spurs is also marked 'right'.
