"Lascivious North African / Africanism"
Sensitive and sensual portrait of an African, typical of the production of the art deco era. It is not signed but the handwriting is excellent. Bears two mentions on the frame, of period and origin, including one "die lasziv nordafrikaner" which could be translated by lascivious North African, and another undoubtedly relating to a first and last name. Compare to the work of Pal Fried, André Hallet or Tony de Lyée.
